Our Mission

In order to prevent the unwarranted surrender or euthanasia of shelter and owned pets across the nation we provide low to eliminated cost behavior modification training and pet sitting to the public as well as implementing educational courses to shelters around the nation based on the shelter’s needs.  

At The Crüe Dog Training and Behavior Consulting our preferred training method is the Motley Method. This is a Crue Dog Training termed method that focuses on the individual dog and taking the whole dog into account. Within the Humane Hierarchy we primarily implement the Differential Reinforcement of Alternative Behaviors technique, however when a pets safety or outcome is put into question we may feel it necessary to responsibly implement higher tiers.

Rather than molding each dog to a ”one-size-fits-all” training template we pride ourselves on being knowledgeable enough to have multiple avenues of teaching a cue or behavior. We treat each dog as the individuals they are and take the time to learn what each dog finds as reinforcing or aversive as well as gathering their history to create a training plan that caters to their needs.
